These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the HockeyTron platform operated by HockeyTron.com ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

HockeyTron.com is an AI-powered custom sports jersey design platform. Users can generate jersey designs using artificial intelligence, build team rosters with player names and numbers, and place orders for manufactured jerseys produced via sublimation printing.

2. Account Registration

• You may use the AI design tool as a guest with limited generations.
• Creating an account requires a valid email address and password.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
• You may not create accounts for the purpose of abusing generation limits.

3. AI-Generated Designs

3a. Nature of AI Output

Designs are generated by artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). Results may vary based on your prompts and are not guaranteed to match any specific expectation. AI-generated images may contain imperfections, artifacts, or unexpected elements.

3b. Intellectual Property and Ownership

The copyright status of AI-generated images is an evolving area of law. Under current U.S. Copyright Office guidance, purely AI-generated works may not be eligible for copyright registration. By placing an order, you receive a non-exclusive license to use the design for personal, team, or organizational use on the ordered merchandise. You may not:

• Resell, sublicense, or commercially distribute the AI-generated designs themselves
• Claim exclusive copyright ownership over purely AI-generated designs
• Use designs to create competing products or services

We retain the right to use anonymized AI-generated designs for platform improvement, marketing, and promotional purposes.

3c. Prohibited Content

You agree not to use the AI design tool to generate content that is:

• Offensive, hateful, discriminatory, or promoting violence
• Infringing on third-party trademarks, logos, or intellectual property (including professional sports league marks such as NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB, etc.)
• Obscene, pornographic, or inappropriate
• Deceptive or fraudulent in nature
• In violation of any applicable law

We reserve the right to refuse production of any design at our sole discretion and to terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.

4. Orders and Payment

• All prices are displayed in US dollars.
• Orders are subject to minimum quantity requirements as displayed during checkout.
• Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider. We do not store credit card information.
• An order is confirmed only upon successful payment. You will receive email confirmation.

5. Custom Product Disclaimer

All jerseys are custom-manufactured to order using sublimation printing. Because each item is produced specifically for your order:

• Colors in the final printed product may vary slightly from on-screen previews due to differences in display calibration, printing processes, and fabric materials.
• AI-generated design previews are approximations. The production process involves converting designs to flat manufacturing templates, which may result in minor differences from the on-screen preview.
• Please review your order carefully before completing checkout, including player names, numbers, and sizes.

7. Generation Limits

AI design generation is subject to usage limits based on your account type. Anonymous (unregistered) users receive a limited number of lifetime generations. Registered members receive a monthly allocation. These limits exist to manage AI processing costs and prevent abuse. Attempts to circumvent these limits (including creating multiple accounts) may result in account termination.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Back Office Designs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with AI-generated designs, color variations in printed products, or delays in production and shipping.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Back Office Designs, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, including any intellectual property claims related to content you submit or designs you request.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to conflict of law principles.
